Permits have been filed for a 44-story, mixed-use building at 451 10th Avenue in Hudson Yards, Manhattan. Located between West 35th Street and West 36th Street, the corner lot is one block north of the 34th Street-Hudson Yards subway station, serviced by the 7 train. Bryan Cho of Related Companies is listed as the owner behind the applications. In 2017, Spitzer Enterprises and Related Companies announced a partnership to develop a two-tower, 1.4-million-square-foot project at that site.

Plans Submitted for New Rochelle’s New Tallest Building at 11 Lawton Street

Downtown New Rochelle may soon have an interesting addition to its skyline as plans were recently filed for a 48-story skyscraper at 11 Lawton Street. In addition to the 605-foot tower, the site will also house a separate 23-story hotel building. As reported in the New York YIMBY forums, this will be the largest mixed-use development project in the city’s history if approved later this month at the Planning Board meeting.

Renderings for Lenox Hill Hospital’s Show Two Towers on the Upper East Side

Plans for a Lenox Hill Hospital expansion have been in the works for sometime now, and renderings show a 41-story residential building on part of the hospital’s Upper East Side property. This 490-foot-tall condominium tower will sit on the corner of East 76th Street and Park Avenue and include about 200 units, while a second 30-story tower will be built on the opposite Park Avenue corner at East 77th Street. This structure will include a “mother-baby” hospital wing as well as operating rooms, patient rooms, and programmable shared community spaces. The proposal calls for a total of 1.3 million square feet, up from the hospital’s current 780,000 square feet at 100 East 77th Street.
