The affordable housing lottery has launched for the Parker West Apartments, a 21-story mixed-use building at 214 West 72nd Street on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Designed by Greenberg Farrow and and developed by CBSK Ironstate, a collaboration of SK Development, CB Developers, and Brooklyn Standard Properties, the structure yields 38,006 square feet and 19 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect is one unit for residents at 80 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $67,132 to $118,400.

$30 Million Acquisition of The Johanna Apartments Preserves Affordable Housing in Harlem, Manhattan

The latest acquisition by Camber Property Group brings affordability protections to 60 apartments in Harlem, Manhattan. The Johanna Apartments, acquired for $30 million, consists of a 100 percent Project Based Section 8 property across four buildings on West 144th Street, just a block from the 145th Street subway station.

Designed by Bricolage Designs, the structure yields 5,567 square feet with eight residences and both commercial and community facility space. Available on NYC Housing Connect are three units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $75,258 to $167,570.

Housing Lottery Launches for 107 West 105th Street HDFC Co-ops on Manhattan’s Upper West Side

The affordable housing lottery is open for 107 West 105th Street, a five-story residential development on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Built in 1930, the 15-unit building yields 8,760 square feet. Available on NYC Housing Connect are six units for sale for residents at 110 percent of the area median income, ranging in eligible income from $88,500 to $141,790.

Overall, the Riverton Square complex consists of 1,229 units across 12 buildings with approximately 1,000 units designated as affordable housing. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 55 units for residents at 60 to 125 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $43,852 to $161,125.

Full demolition permits have been filed for 35 West 57th Street in Midtown, Manhattan. Located between Fifth and Sixth Avenues along Billionaires’ Row, the 2,510-square-foot site is occupied by a five-story mixed-use building. Built in 1891, the mansion with Beaux Arts details was a wedding gift to the granddaughter of William Vanderbilt. The 65-foot-tall structure is currently owned by Solow Realty and Development.

Demo Permits Make Way for RAMSA-Designed Tower at 14 Fifth Avenue in Greenwich Village, Manhattan

Demo permits have been filed for 14 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village, the site of a planned 19-story residential tower designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects and Hill West. Located between East 8th Street and East 9th Street with 52 feet of frontage along Fifth Avenue, the property is currently occupied by a four-story residential building with 20 units. Madison Realty Capital is listed as the owner behind the application, after purchasing the 5,255-square-foot site for $27.5 million in 2015.
