Located between Amsterdam and West End Avenues, the lot is near the 59th Street subway station, serviced by the A, B, C, D, and 1 trains. W59th Shelter HDFC is listed as the owner behind the applications of the 7,560-square-foot lot. Project Renewal, a non-profit that offers housing and services for the homeless, will operate the shelter.
