Phipps Houses, a major developer in the affordable housing market, has filed plans for a new, three-building development in Forest Hills, Queens. When complete, the project will introduce 298 new apartments, community facilities, and a four-story parking garage to the neighborhood.
Permits filed detail a new, 17-story mixed-use structure coming to Flushing, Queens. Located at 144-49 Northern Boulevard, plans also include the demolition of a neighboring two-story commercial building, which was scheduled to begin on April 12, 2018.
Fresh permits have revealed the future of a vacant lot at 91-23 Corona Avenue, in Elmhurst, Queens, which will consist of a new seven-story, mixed-use structure. The building’s footprint will comprise approximately half of the property, with the remaining area to be used for parking in the rear, and a driveway along the lot’s western boundary.
New permits filed at 42-12 77th Street, in Elmhurst, Queens, call for an 8,000 square-foot community facility to replace a three-story, multi-family residence.
Permits have been filed for a six-story, mixed-use hotel at 38-23 28th Street, on the northern edge of Long Island City, Queens. The new development sits squarely between 38th and 39th Avenues, just a couple blocks from RT 25A / Northern Boulevard.
