Almost a decade following the initial opening of Ravel Hotel in Long Island City, ownership has unveiled a ten-story expansion and partial renovation of its existing property at 8-08 Queens Plaza South, just south of Queensbridge Park. Ravi Patel, owner of the Ravel Hotel brand, describes the project as “transformative” and sought to establish an amenity-rich hotel and entertainment space for weddings, corporate outings, and other large events.

The Hakimian Organization is credited as the developer of the property following its purchase of construction rights from Piermont Properties in 2018. (Update: According to the developer, it is likely the project will not be called Woodside Green.)

The property, which was designed and constructed in accordance to LEED Gold requirements, features a total of 2.4 million square feet and includes a 22-story tower, a 19-story tower, and a shared central podium. The development contains more than 400 apartments.

Queens-based developer Cord Meyer Development has nearly completed the first phase of a new multi-building residential complex in Bayside, Queens. The four-story property is located at 211-35 23rd Avenue and replaces a long-vacant green space across from the Bay Terrace Shopping Center. When complete, the entire complex will comprise 33 two-family townhouses.

Originally constructed in 1929, RockFarmer began the first phase of the conversion of in 2014, which introduced 57 co-op apartments. Phase two of the development will include an additional 38 units that are on track to launch in 2020. With completion just one year away, developers have unveiled a sales gallery and model residence with pricing beginning at $475,000.
