New permits have been filed for a five-story residential building at 326 Avenue U, in Gravesend, Brooklyn. The filing confirms that the lot has changed ownership since YIMBY covered earlier plans in 2016. The Avenue U subway station is on the block, serviced by the F train. Astoria-based Vardo Construction Corporation is listed as behind the applications.
A four-story residential building will soon rise at 171 Lefferts Place, in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. The 2,900 square foot lot currently sits vacant between two low-rise, multi-family residences.

Excavation at 50 Hudson Yards is nearing completion, and thanks to an aerial by Archartdescon, we can see that foundation work has also now commenced. Construction is advancing with incredible speed, and most of the site has been cleared since YIMBY’s last report in November.
