Exterior work is wrapping up on 1245 Broadway, a 23-story commercial building in NoMad. Designed by Skidmore Owings & Merrill and developed by GDSNY and Sweden-based Klövern AB, the 318-foot-tall, LEED Gold structure will yield 200,000 square feet of office space with leasing handled by CBRE. StructureTech NY and Triton Construction are building the Midtown, Manhattan project, which stands at the corner of West 31st Street and Broadway.
Leasing has launched for Station Bay, a residential community at 1000 Schindler Drive in South Amboy, New Jersey. Developed by BNE Real Estate Group, the property is located near the Raritan Bay waterfront, which will soon feature a ferry terminal with service to and from New York City.

Permits have been filed for an eight-story mixed-use building at 560 Bay Street in Stapleton Heights, Staten Island. Located between Prospect Street and Union Place, the site is one block from the Stapleton station for the Staten Island subway. Construction has topped out on the newly renamed Brooklyn Tower, a 93-story supertall skyscraper and the tallest structure in the Outer Boroughs at 9 DeKalb Avenue in Downtown Brooklyn. Designed by SHoP Architects and developed by JDS, the 1,066-foot-tall tower will yield 550 residences, with 150 for purchase and 400 rentals with 30 percent of which reserved at affordable housing rates, as well as a 100,000-square-foot retail podium bound by Flatbush Avenue Extension to the northeast, Fleet Street to the northwest, and DeKalb Avenue to the south. The project also includes the refurbishing and re-purposing of the landmarked Dime Savings Bank of Brooklyn, which is being incorporated into the podium.
