Exterior work is progressing on 144-02 94th Avenue, a 15-story mixed-use hotel development in Jamaica, Queens. Designed by Michael Kang Architect and developed by Nehalkumar Gandhi under the Liverpool Realty LLC, the 150-foot-tall structure will yield 40,903 square feet, with 34,861 square feet designated for commercial space. Inside will be a total of 150 guest rooms, with an average unit scope of 232 square feet, as well as a cellar level. The project is located at the corner of 94th Avenue and Sean Bell Way.

95-25 Waltham Street Nears Completion in Jamaica, Queens

Construction is finishing up on 95-25 Waltham Street, a 16-story residential building in Jamaica, Queens. Designed by Angelo Ng + Anthony Ng Architects for Amar Marketing enterprise 2 LLC, the 158-foot-tall structure will yield 52 rental apartments with an average scope of 767 square feet, as well as a cellar level, a 30-foot-long rear yard, and 15 enclosed parking spaces. The project is situated on an interior lot between 95th and 97th Avenues.

NJPAC Breaks Ground On $336 Million Campus Redevelopment in Newark, New Jersey

The New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) has broken ground on $336 million mixed-use campus redevelopment in Newark, New Jersey. Designed by multiple architects including Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), the 12-acre master plan involves the construction of two new buildings along with the renovation of two existing structures, and will yield mixed-income housing, community center space, and a new public park. The site is bound by Rector Street to the north, the intersection of Mulberry Street and Kitchell Place to the south, McCarter Highway and the NJPAC-Center Street light rail stop to the east, and Park Place to the west.

Second Phase Of Kingsland Commons Redevelopment Breaks Ground In Greenpoint, Brooklyn

The second phase of the Kingsland Commons redevelopment has broken ground in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The project, which is located on the former Greenpoint Hospital campus, will deliver 311 permanently affordable homes for extremely low-income and very low-income residents, including formerly homeless individuals and families. The four-phase development is being led by the Hudson Companies and St. Nicks Alliance, which are working in partnership with various city agencies and financial institutions.
