Skyline Tower’s Glass Façade Nearing Completion In Long Island City, Queens

Exterior work is getting close to completion on Long Island City‘s Skyline Tower, the tallest skyscraper in the outer boroughs. Located at 23-15 44th Drive, the 778-foot-tall residential tower is designed by Hill West Architects and developed by United Construction & Development Group, FSA Capital, and Risland US Holdings LLC. Modern Spaces is the exclusive marketing and sales agency for the 802 residences, which are designed by Whitehall Interiors. The nearly $1 billion edifice is now almost entirely enclosed in glass, with only the ground floor and crown left to be completed.

Located between Broome Street and Delancey Street, the interior lot is a short walk to the Bowery subway station, serviced by the J and Z trains and the Grand Street station, serviced by the B and D trains. SLCE Architects’ One Boerum Place Tops Out In Downtown Brooklyn

One Boerum Place has topped out in Downtown Brooklyn. The slim reinforced concrete superstructure recently reached its 21-story parapet, and work is now shifting to the installation of its brick masonry façade. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by Avery Hall Investments, Allegra Holdings, and Aria Development Group, the residential building sits on a narrow plot of land bound by Boerum Place, Red Hook Lane, and Fulton Street. The project is expected to cost around $250 million.
