Westchester County’s Industrial Development Agency has approved financial incentives for Regeneron Pharmaceuticals’ $1.8 billion campus expansion project in Tarrytown. With the expansion, Regeneron expects to create more than 2,700 new construction jobs, around 1,000 permanent positions, and an estimated $357 million in economic activity for Westchester County.
Permits have been filed for a three-story residential building at 2135 Reeds Mill Lane in Eastchester, The Bronx. Located between Bivona Street and Tillotson Street, the lot is near the Baychester Avenue subway station, serviced by the 5 train. Yaron Ziegel of 2137 Reeds Mill Lane LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Finishing touches are wrapping up on 109 East 79th Street, a 20-story residential building on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by Steven Harris Architects and developed by Legion Investment Group, the 210-foot-tall structure yields 145,000 square feet and 31 condominium units ranging from two-bedroom layouts to five-bedroom full-floor penthouses, with the largest spanning over 6,000 square feet with a private rooftop terrace. Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group’s Cathy Franklin Team is leading sales and marketing for the property, which is located on the north side of East 79th Street between Lexington and Park Avenues.
Construction is now topped out at the third and final residential tower in Jersey City’s Journal Squared complex in New Jersey. Located at 595 Pavonia Avenue in the city’s Journal Square neighborhood, the 60-story building will eventually contain 596 rental apartments, and 18,000 square feet of amenities.
The affordable housing lottery has launched for 61 Clarkson Avenue, a six-story residential building in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, Brooklyn. Designed by Carusone & Cherres Architects and developed by Clarkson Parnasa LLC, the structure yields 11 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are four units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $72,000 to $167,570.
