11-Story Mixed-Use Building Revealed at 1134 Fulton Street, Bed-Stuy

In May, YIMBY reported on filings for an eight-story, 119-unit mixed-use building at 1134 Fulton Street, in southwestern Bedford-Stuyvesant, and now Brownstoner has the Karl-Fisher-designed reveal. The building will actually be 11 stories, and an affordable housing component will boost the number of residential units to 189. Commercial space will measure nearly 18,500 square feet, where a grocery store is expected. Joseph Brunner is developing, and an existing two-story building must first be demolished.


985 Willoughby Avenue

Eight-Unit Residential Building Planned At 985 Willoughby Avenue, Bushwick

Lazer Waldman, doing business under an LLC, has filed applications for a four-story, eight-unit residential building at 985 Willoughby Avenue, just north of the Central Avenue subway stop in northern Bushwick. The building will measure 6,725 square feet, which puts the average unit at roughly 840 square feet. Charles Mallea’s M Architecture is designing, and demo permits were recently filed for the existing two-story, two-unit townhouse.

Fourth Multi-Family Building Filed This Week In Borough Park, Now At 1230 48th Street

Mayer Meisels has filed applications for a fourth residential development this week in Borough Park, this time at 1230 48th Street, right around the corner from the 50th Street subway stop. Plans call for a four-story, four-unit building measuring 6,610 square feet, with an average unit size of roughly 1,650 square feet. Kenneth Thomas is the applicant of record, and a dilapidating three-story, multi-family structure must first be demolished.


717 Sutter Avenue

Six-Family Apartment Building Planned At 717 Sutter Avenue, East New York

Meir Mizrachi has filed applications for a three-story, six-unit residential building at the vacant lot at 717 Sutter Avenue, in central East New York, a few blocks south and west of the Van Siclen stop on the C train. The building will measure 4,350 square feet, which means units will average 725 square feet each. Charles Mallea’s M Architecture is designing.


432 Rodney Street

126-Unit Mixed-Use Building Planned At 432 Rodney Street, Williamsburg

Slate Property Group is planning to develop a seven-story, 126-rental-unit mixed-use building from the existing single-story warehouse at 432 Rodney Street, in central Williamsburg. The 99,140 square-foot building will feature nearly 13,950 square feet of retail on the ground floor, and Aufgang Architects is designing.
