Kushner has officially broken ground on One Journal Square, a two-skyscraper mixed-use complex in downtown Jersey City. The development will create more than 2 million square feet with a mix of rental apartments and amenities, retail space, an enclosed parking garage, and publicly accessible green space facing John F. Kennedy Boulevard.
Urby’s next residential community will soon debut at 155 Washington Street in Newark, New Jersey. Known simply as Newark Urby, the property will comprise 250 rental apartments ranging from studios up to three-bedroom floor plans.
The Bayonne Planning Board has granted preliminary approvals for developers to construct what will be the largest mixed-use complex in the New Jersey waterfront city. Known as Peninsula at Bayonne Harbor, the development will comprise 1,250 residential units, 10,000 square feet of retail space, parking for 788 vehicles, a landscaped public park, and a waterfront promenade.
Construction is now underway at 19-00 Pollitt Drive, a new 55-plus rental community developed by Kushner Real Estate Group in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. The building will comprise 307 residences, including 46 affordable housing units, and assortment of indoor-outdoor amenity spaces.
Construction is now complete on 88 Regent Street, a 32-story residential tower in the Liberty Harbor North Redevelopment area in Jersey City, New Jersey. Designed by Marchetto Higgins Stieve and developed by 88 Regent Street, LLC, the structure will yield 392 rental apartments in studio to two-bedroom layouts, 9,110 square feet of retail space, and 5,595 square feet of commercial office space. The property is located at the corner of Regent Street and Jersey Avenue, directly across from the Jersey Avenue light rail station and the Jersey City Medical Center.
