Leasing Begins for 295J at 295 Johnston Avenue in Jersey City

Leasing is now underway at 295J, a new rental property at 295 Johnston Avenue in the Bergen-Lafayette section of Jersey City. Designed by BKSK Architects, the five-story building comprises 309 apartments ranging from studios to three-bedroom units. Monthly rents begin at $1,910 with initial occupancy scheduled for April 2020. Each apartment will feature keyless entrance technology, large windows, furnished kitchen appliances and fixtures, and washer and dryers.

Jersey City’s Harborside 8 Skyscraper Wins Approvals From City Planning Agency

Jersey City’s waterfront is set to give rise to another new skyscraper. City officials have approved Harborside 8, a 68-story, 708-foot-tall residential tower at the southeast corner of Second and Hudson Streets. Developed by Mack Cali and designed by Elkus Manfredi Architects, the building will eventually top out as one of the tallest structures in the state of New Jersey.

The Hudson County Improvement Authority has revealed new renderings of a sprawling courthouse complex designed by award-winning architect Rafael Viñoly. Set to debut in Jersey City by 2023, the Frank J. Guarini Justice Complex will replace the existing Hudson County Administration Building at 595 Newark Avenue with a mix of judicial spaces and public grounds.
