A recent acquisition of an affordable senior community at 1313 Baltic Avenue in Atlantic City, New Jersey will preserve its affordability for 30 years. Standard Communities, the affordable housing division of Standard Companies, acquired Baltic Plaza Apartments for approximately $38 million.
Leasing is set to launch this May for Dey & Bergen, a new rental property in Harrison, New Jersey. Located at 1 Bergen Street along the Passaic River waterfront, the building offers a collection of 242 units.
Little by little, progress is being made for Cove, a massive mixed-use project in Jersey City. Argent Ventures, which owns 12.4 acres of the development land, has joined forces with H&R Real Estate Investment Trust, to redevelop the property adjacent to Liberty State Park. Preliminary plans by Argent Ventures called for a mixed-use waterfront development with 1.6 million square feet of laboratory and office space and 1,544 residential units. Future residents would have clear views of both downtown Jersey City and Manhattan.
This spring, developers will launch sales at Wonder Lofts, a residential conversion project at a former Wonder Bread Factory in Hoboken, New Jersey. The property is located at 720 Clinton Street and houses 83 loft-style condominiums, 14,400 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenity spaces, and thoughtfully curated interior accents throughout.
Newark Central Planning Board recently approved proposals to construct a massive three-tower residential development which will debut as ‘The Halo.’ Located at 289-301 Washington Street, the 44, 48, and 52-story towers quickly step up to a final height of 565 feet and will be the tallest standing structures in Newark, New Jersey.
