Solomon Schwimmer, doing business as Winthrop Heights LLC, has filed applications for a four-story, 10-unit residential building measuring 8,260 square feet at 83 Winthrop Street, in Prospect Lefferts Gardens. Diego Aguilera is designing, and an existing two-story house must first be demolished.
Boaz Gilad’s Brookland Capital is one of the most prolific small condo developers in Brooklyn, with projects under construction from the Williamsburg waterfront all the way down to East Flatbush. Now they’ve ventured away from Bed Stuy and Crown Heights and into more established condo territory with a development at 15th Street and 4th Avenue in Park Slope.
In 2013, it was reported that WeWork was in talks for 500,000 square feet at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. YIMBY has now obtained plans for a new mixed-use structure on the site, which would host both a WeWork/WeLive, with the design coming from S9/Perkins Eastman.
Yesterday, YIMBY posted an on-site rendering sent in by a tipster for Adam America’s new 21-story condominium project coming to 319 Schermerhorn Street in Downtown Brooklyn. Reps from Adam America sent along a higher-res version, which shows the building up-close, and also confirmed that Issac & Stern is the architect. The masonry cladding will be interspersed with large PTAC-free windows, and inside, the building will have 74 units.
The property owner, Alexei Petrikov, of the vacant lot at 4220 Beach 42nd Street, in Sea Gate, has filed applications for a three-story, two-unit residential building measuring 3,720 square feet. Sergey Mozer, of SM Architect PLLC, is designing the project.
