Property owner Jack Schwartz has filed applications for a four-story, four-unit residential building at 1430 55th Street, in Borough Park, two blocks from the 55th Street subway stop on the D line. The building will measure 6,845 square feet, which means the full-floor units will probably be condominiums, averaging a spacious 1,710 square feet. Ruslan Goychayev’s RSLN Architecture is the applicant of record, and an existing 2.5-story house must first be demolished.

The development’s five new townhouses are inching toward completion, and renovations seem to have finished at the four 19th century Greek Revival homes.
