The site allows for an eight-story, 35,000 square foot building with retail, but it’s not known whether the new developer intends to follow the previously filed plans. The previous owners began assembling the site in 2005, when a 14-story building could have been built, before the city downzoned the East Village in 2008, according to The Real Deal. NO Architecture designed the old proposal.
