New Renderings Revealed for 540 Hudson Street Following Alterations, Greenwich Village

New renderings are out for 540 Hudson Street, a seven-story mixed-use building proposed in Greenwich Village. The site is two blocks away from the Christopher Street Station, serviced by the PATH Train, and the Christopher Street Subway Station, serviced by the 1 and 2 trains. The project would fill a vacant lot in the heart of the village. Morris Adjmi Architects will be responsible for the undulating design.

Permits Filed for 39-14 114th Street, North Corona, Queens

Permits have been filed for a nine-story mixed-use building at 39-14 114^th Street in the North Corona neighborhood of Queens. The site is right on the edge of the Citi Field station area, and a few blocks North of the expansive Flushing Meadows Corona Park. The 111^th Street Subway Station is two blocks away, serviced by the 7 trains. Eight blocks away is Flushing Bay Promenade. King’s Empire Group LLC will be responsible for the development.

YIMBY has the latest on progress at the Robert A.M. Stern Architects-designed 250 West 81st Street, on the Upper West Side, which has finally topped-out at 209 feet, right on schedule. The new building fits neatly in the neighborhood, with a myriad of classical sensibilities embellishing the façade as well as the interiors. Alongside the topping-out, a slew of new interior renderings have also been revealed.

New Rendering Revealed Showing Massive Changes in Brooklyn Navy Yard’s Near Future

The Brooklyn Navy Yard (BNY) has released its long-term plan for the development of the district, with the ambition of creating 10,000 new jobs in the coming years. This would bring total employment to 30,000 jobs for the area. Most exciting is news that another $2.5 billion will be invested into expanding the yard by five million square feet, for manufacturing space as well as complementary businesses from the creative, tech, and innovation sectors.

Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 87-83 168th Street, in Jamaica, Queens. The site is seven blocks away from the Parson Boulevard Subway Station, serviced by the E and F trains. Six blocks further is the Jamaica Center Subway Station, the final stop for the E, J and Z trains. Ziyana Properties will be responsible for the development.

Permits have been filed for two three-story structures at 510 and 512 New Lots Avenue, in East New York, Brooklyn. The site is three blocks away from the Van Siclen Avenue Subway Station, serviced by the 3 and 4 trains. Previous construction remains unfinished on the site from 2004, with the project remaining derelict for over a decade. Sambrial Realty of New York, the owner listed on both permits, will be responsible for the development.

Permits Filed, Rendering Revealed for 250 Lenox Road, East Flatbush, Brooklyn

Permits have been filed by an anonymous LLC for a seven-story mixed-use building at 250 Lenox Road, in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. The site is four blocks away from the Church Avenue Subway Station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Eight blocks away is the Parkside Avenue Subway Station, serviced by the Q train, at the Southeast corner of Prospect Park. The property was sold in mid-December of last year for $1.9 million.

Permits have been filed for an eight-story mixed-use building at 2317 Cambreleng Avenue in Belmont, a neighborhood known as ‘the Little Italy of the Bronx.’ The site is equidistantly a mile away from the 182-183^rd Street Subway Station, and the West Farms Square Subway Station, with the first serviced by the B and D trains, and the 2 and 5 trains passing through the latter. Seven blocks away is the Bronx Zoo. Stagg Group NY is responsible for the development.

Permits have been filed for a nine-story mixed-use building at 31-35 137^th Street, in Flushing, Queens. The site is ten blocks away from the Main Street Subway Station, the final stop for the 7 train in the borough. Leavitts Park is half a block away from the location, bringing to the neighborhood a football field, baseball diamond, and four tennis courts. Mei Yong Xiao will be responsible for the development.

Groundbreaking has officially occurred for 136 Summit Avenue, a nine-story mixed-use building coming to Jersey City, New Jersey. The site is located a mile away from the Journal Square Train Station, serviced by the PATH trains. Monticello Equities is responsible for the development, and purchased the property from GRID Real Estate LLC. GRID is still involved, working as advisors and entitlement managers.
