Located between New Utrecht Avenue and 9th Avenue, the interior site is situated close to the 9th Avenue subway station, serviced by the D line. Construction has kicked-off on Pendry Hotels’ premier New York City location, at 4 Manhattan West. The 21-story hotel is officially named Pendry Manhattan West, and will offer 164 guest rooms and a selection of condominiums positioned on the tower’s upper levels.

The 6,516-square-foot structure built in 1910 has been used as mixed commercial and residential building since, with 6 residential units and 3 commercial units. It is unclear what plans are in store for the 1,896 square foot lot, as no new construction permits have been filed yet. One of Brooklyn’s largest new developments has been proposed along Flatbush Avenue, at 625 Fulton Street, which could rise 941 feet to its rooftop. The site is a large trapezoidal piece of land just steps away from JDS Development’s 9 DeKalb Avenue. A major rezoning plan has been put forth that could potentially bring close to 1,800,000 gross square feet of mixed-use development to the nearly 89,000 square foot property, measuring about two acres in size. The site is bounded by Fulton Street to the south, Hudson Avenue to the west, DeKalb Avenue to the north, and Rockwell Place to the east.
