KS Group and Giga Holdings recently submitted project plans for 315 Mulberry Street in Newark, New Jersey. The plans were submitted to the city’s planning board for review. If approved, the project will become the city’s tallest residential development and span two towers. The plans were designed by INOA Architecture.
The affordable housing lottery has launched for 45-17 Davis Street, a 21-story residential building in Long Island City, Queens. Designed by MY Architect and developed by Tom Wu under Davis Street Development LLC, the structure yields 82 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 37 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $105,875 to $218,010.
Permits have been filed for a four-story commercial building at 83 Wythe Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Located between Berry Street and Wythe Avenue, the lot is near the Bedford Avenue subway station, serviced by the L train. Michael Weitman of Spearhead Contracting LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Construction is nearing topping out on the Victoria and Lloyd Goldman Health Care Pavilion, formerly called the Northwell Medical Pavilion, a 15-story medical facility for Lenox Hill Hospital at 1345 Third Avenue on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by Ennead Architects with EwingCole as the medical architect and developed by Northwell Health and The University Financing Foundation, the 200,000-square-foot outpatient center will stand nearly 215 feet tall and offer specialized cancer care services, imaging and lab testing, cardiac care, neuroscience programs, a sleep study center, acute and chronic disease management, social work services, and more. The $450 million project is located in Lenox Hill between East 76th and East 77th Streets.
This week RXR celebrated the topping out of 89 Dekalb Avenue, a mixed-use development in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. The all-electric tower will deliver 324 multifamily units, with 98 designated for middle-income housing, along with 55,000 square feet of academic and office space for Long Island University.
