Kendal on Hudson, a senior living community at 1010 Kendall Way in Sleepy Hollow, New York, has received preliminary approval for $20.6 million in tax-exempt bond financing from the Westchester County’s Local Development Corporation. The financing will go toward a renovation for the property, which is designed to improve accessibility and functionality in both interior and exterior common spaces for the 222-unit community, and is expected to cost a total of $32 million.

The property is located between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, directly south of Rockefeller Center, with a narrow annex extending south to West 47th Street. INC Architecture & Design is handling interior design work.
