Designed by OMA and developed by Sedesco, the 63-story structure is slated to yield 119 condominium units with an average scope of 1,992 square feet, as well as a 158-room hotel spanning 205,100 square feet from floors two through 20, and a 10,212-square-foot restaurant. The property is situated an interior plot between Fifth and Sixth Avenues with frontage on both West 57th and West 58th Streets.

Construction is finishing up on The Delecor, a 31-story residential tower at 250 East 83rd Street in the Yorkville section of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by The Torkian Group, the 370-foot-tall structure spans 215,608 square feet and yields 128 rental units in one- to four-bedroom layouts, as well as a collection of penthouses and ground-floor retail space. LPC To Review Renovation, Expansion Proposal for 136 Kane Street In Cobble Hill, Brooklyn

The Landmarks Preservation Commission is reviewing a proposal for renovations and additions to 136 Kane Street, a four-story Italianate-style townhouse in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn. Designed by BKSK Architects and developed by Kane Street Realty, the project involves the construction of a new rear addition and rooftop expansion to the structure, which was originally built in 1910, as well as a repairs to its original brownstone façade, replacement of non-historic windows with historically appropriate units, and reconstruction of decorative elements such as cornices. The property is located at the corner of Kane Street and Cheever Place.

Kicking off our annual Turkey Week rundown of stalled projects in New York City is The Torch, a 1,067-foot mixed-use supertall skyscraper at 740 Eighth Avenue in Midtown, Manhattan. Designed by ODA with SLCE Architects as the architect of record and developed by Extell, the 52-story structure is planned to span 875,372 square feet and yield an 825-room hotel topped by a public outdoor observation deck with a drop ride attraction in the signature stemlike column. The property would also feature lower-level retail space, a restaurant on two of the upper floors, a VIP lounge, and a pool deck for hotel guests. The property is located along Eighth Avenue between West 45th and 46th Streets on the border of Times Square and Hell’s Kitchen.
