The affordable housing lottery has launched for three gut-renovated buildings at 406 East 10th Street, 533 East 11th Street, and 195 Avenue C in the Alphabet City section of Manhattan’s East Village. Developed by Affordable Neighborhood Cooperative Program of the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development, occupancy is anticipated for summer-fall of 2025. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 21 units for residents at 110 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $83,016 to $211,860.

Façade installation is underway on 16 Fifth Avenue, a 19-story residential building in Greenwich Village, Manhattan. Designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects and Hill West Architects and developed by Madison Realty Capital, the 241-foot-tall structure will yield 14 condominium units. The property is located on an interior lot between East 8th and 9th Streets, just north of Washington Square Park.

1515 Surf Avenue Welcomes Milk & Honey In Coney Island, Brooklyn

1515 Surf Avenue, a recently completed two-tower residential development in Coney Island, Brooklyn, has announced that the Brooklyn-based cafe and restaurant Milk & Honey will open its third location inside a 3,500-square-foot space at the property’s ground floor. Designed by Studio V Architecture and developed by LCOR, the 470,000-square-foot project comprises of 463 units. Its two towers stand 16- and 26-stories respectively and are connected by a shared podium. Milk & Honey’s new location within the development will be at the corner of West 15th Street and Surf Avenue, and open in late spring 2025.
