Excavation, Pilings Underway at 1122 Madison Avenue on Manhattan’s Upper East Side

Earthwork is underway at 1122 Madison Avenue, the site of an 18-story residential building on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by Hill West Architects and developed by Legion Investment Group and Nahla Capital, the 210-foot-tall structure will span 86,000 square feet and yield 22 condominium units with an average scope of 3,500 square feet. The property is alternately addressed as 22 East 84th Street and located at the corner of Madison Avenue and East 84th Street.

Façade Work Progresses on 209 West 96th Street on Manhattan’s Upper West Side

Exterior work is continuing on 209 West 96th Street, an eight-story medical building on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by HJ Architects, the structure will span approximately 24,000 square feet and yield an undisclosed number of residential units, a cellar level, and ground-floor retail space. The 3,100-square-foot interior lot is located by the intersection of Broadway and West 96th Street.

Permits Filed for 504 Beverley Road in Kensington, Brooklyn

Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 504 Beverley Road in Kensington, Brooklyn. Located between Ocean Parkway and East 5th Street, the lot is near the Church Avenue subway station, serviced by the F and G trains. Nurus Safa is listed as the owner behind the applications.

Construction is close to topping out on 14+C, a 24-story residential building rising at 644 East 14th Street in the Alphabet City section of Manhattan’s East Village. Designed by Fischer + Makooi Architects and developed by Madison Realty Capital, the 200,000-square-foot structure will yield 196 rental units in studio to two-bedroom layouts, with an undisclosed portion reserved for affordable housing, as well as ground-floor retail space. The property is located at the corner of East 14th Street and Avenue C.

Financial Incentives Issued For 325-337 South Broadway In Yonkers

The Yonkers Industrial Development Agency has issued preliminary approval of financial incentives for a new multifamily residential building to be constructed on three adjoining lots located at 325, 335, and 337 South Broadway in Yonkers. The project is being developed by Urban Builders Collaborative, a New York City-based company. When complete, it will yield 185 affordable apartments in studio to three-bedroom configurations.

RAMSA’s 16 Fifth Avenue Continues Ascent in Greenwich Village, Manhattan

Construction has risen past the halfway mark on 16 Fifth Avenue, a 19-story residential building in Greenwich Village, Manhattan. Designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects and Hill West Architects and developed by Madison Realty Capital, which purchased the 5,255-square-foot plot for $27.5 million in 2015, the 241-foot-tall structure will yield 20 condominium units. The property is located on an interior lot between East 8th and East 9th Streets, just north of Washington Square Park.
