45 Park Place Remains Incomplete in Tribeca, Manhattan
Continuing our Turkey Week rundown of stalled projects is 45 Park Place, a 43-story residential skyscraper in Tribeca, Manhattan. Designed by SOMA Architects and Ismael Leyva Architects and developed by Sharif el-Gamal of Soho Properties under the Park Place Development Primary LLC, the 667-foot-tall structure was slated to yield 50 condominium units. The property is located between Church Street and West Broadway.
Façade Installation Continues on 1345 Third Avenue on Manhattan’s Upper East Side
Façade installation is continuing on the Victoria and Lloyd Goldman Health Care Pavilion, a 15-story medical facility for Lenox Hill Hospital at 1345 Third Avenue on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by Ennead Architects and developed by Northwell Health and The University Financing Foundation, the 215-foot-tall structure will yield 200,000 square feet of outpatient treatment space for specialized cancer care services, imaging and lab testing, cardiac care, neuroscience programs, a sleep study center, acute and chronic disease management, social work services, and more. The $450 million project is located in Lenox Hill between East 76th and 77th Street.

New renderings have been revealed for 343 Madison Avenue, a 46-story commercial skyscraper in Midtown East, Manhattan. Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox and developed by BXP, the 46-story tower will yield 950,000 square feet of office space and a collection of tenant amenities. The property is located along Madison Avenue between East 44th and 45th Streets.

Permits have been filed for a 23-story mixed-use building at 1655 First Avenue on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Located between East 86th Street and East 87th Street, the lot is one block east of the 86th Street subway station, served by the Q train. Cheskel Schwimmer of Chess Builders LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
