Renderings have been revealed for The TwoSixtyTwo, a four-story residential building nearing completion at 262-266 New York Avenue in The Heights neighborhood of Jersey City, New Jersey. Designed by Pereiras Architects Ubiquitous and developed by Academy Capital, the structure will yield ten condominium units in one- to three-bedroom layouts. The project will also include a 1,350-square-foot live/work unit on the ground level. The property is located between Bowers and Griffith Streets.

NYC Parks has completed a $2.8 million reconstruction of Dawson Playground in Longwood, The Bronx. The capital improvement project was funded through the Mayor’s Community Parks Initiative, modernizing the playground with new recreational amenities, accessibility upgrades, landscaping, and infrastructure improvements designed to better serve local families and the surrounding community.

130 Lafayette Rises Past Halfway Mark in Soho, Manhattan

Construction is rising on 130 Lafayette Street, a 25-story residential building in Soho, Manhattan. Designed by Marvel and developed by Trammell Crow, the 273-foot-tall structure will span approximately 108,000 square feet and yield 99 rental units. The project will also include 1,817 square feet of ground-floor retail space. A portion of the residential inventory will be dedicated to affordable housing. The property is located between Howard and Canal Streets.

70 Westchester Avenue Breaks Ground in White Plains, Westchester County

Construction is underway at 70 Westchester Avenue, the site of a ten-story mixed-use residential complex in White Plains, New York. Designed by Design Development and developed in a joint venture between Cord Meyer Development and Saber Real Estate North, the approximately 331,691-square-foot project will yield 203 units. The development will also include 9,600 square feet of ground-floor commercial space, and a 266-vehicle parking garage with EV chargers. The property is located between South Broadway and Bloomingdale Road, directly across from The Westchester shopping center.

Designed by KNTM Architects and developed by the City of Hoboken in partnership with Community Investment Strategies, the project will deliver 36 deed-restricted affordable apartments for residents aged 55 and older, marking the first new 100-percent affordable senior housing development built in Hoboken in more than 30 years.
