Rendering Revealed For 20-Story Residential Tower At 304 West 49th Street in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan

A new rendering has been revealed for 304 West 49th Street, a proposed 20-story residential building in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan. Designed by DR Architecture & Design for 304 West 49th Garage LLC, the 209-foot-tall structure will span 59,000 square feet and yield a total of 69 rental units and ground-floor retail space. Seventeen of the apartments will designated as permanently affordable under the city’s Mandatory Inclusionary Housing (MIH) program. The property is located between Eighth and Ninth Avenues.

545 Metropolitan Avenue Tops Out in Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Construction has topped out on 545 Metropolitan Avenue, a six-story mixed-use building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Designed by Tony-Saba Shiber of Commoncraft Architecture and developed by Thomas Finnican of Patoma Inc., the project involves the vertical expansion of a one-story building into a 75-foot-tall cantilevering structure standing 74 feet tall. The building will span 7,233 square feet and yield six condominium units with an average scope of 991 square feet, as well as 1,289 square feet of commercial space and a 17-foot-long rear yard. 545 Metropolitan LP is listed as the owner of the property, which is located between Lorimer Street to the east and Union Avenue to the west.

On January 15, Newark officials gathered with the development team to celebrate the completion of The Ballantine, a six-story residential building at 80 Freeman Street in the Ironbound section of Newark, New Jersey. Developed by Shorewood Real Estate Group in partnership with Bridge Investment Group, the $88 million project occupies the site of the former Ballantine Brewery and yields 280 units.

Designed by Fischer Makooi Architects for Beitel Group, the 134-foot-tall structure will span 192,026 square feet and yield 240 rental units with an average scope of 770 square feet, as well as 7,040 square feet of commercial space, a 44-foot-long rear yard, and enclosed parking for 82 vehicles. The property is located on a triangular parcel bound by Grand Concourse, Walton Avenue, and East 140th Street.

The property is located at the corner of Herbert and Humboldt Streets.

‘Charlie’ Residential Tower Begins Construction at Hoboken Connect in Hoboken, New Jersey
