Steel beams have been erected up to the second floor of Adam America’s and Horizon Group’s 12-story, 38-condo-unit mixed-use building at 100 Norfolk Street, on the Lower East Side. Bowery Boogie reports construction has been crawling along, and the project may not make its scheduled completion for 2016. The building is over 85% sold, according to REW, and 11,250 square feet of retail is planned. ODA Architecture is designing.
Last summer, YIMBY brought you renderings of 215 Chrystie Street, a 28-story, 370-hotel-room mixed-use tower now under construction on the Lower East Side. According to Bowery Boogie, concrete and rebar are up to the second floor. Ian Schrager and Witkoff are developing, and Herzog & de Meuron is the design architect. Completion is scheduled for late 2016.
YIMBY recently featured an update on construction at 50 West Street on the YIMBYgram, and now we have a new video of what the project will look like once work is complete, likely by early 2016. Time Equities is developing the 64-story building, which was designed by Helmut Jahn.
Back in late April, YIMBY posted the first rendering for the ODA-designed tower coming to 75 Nassau Street, which is being developed by Lexin Capital. Now, we have a new set of images for the 40-story building, which will soon rise on the corner of Nassau and Fulton Streets in the Financial District.
In March, YIMBY revealed a rendering of Bizzi & Partners’ planned 25-story tower at 100 Varick Street, and now plans have been filed for the 290-foot-tall residential building at the corner of Watts Street in Hudson Square.
