Exterior work is wrapping up on 219 Hudson Street, a ten-story mixed-use building in Hudson Square. Designed by Rawlings Architects and developed by Joel Braver, the property will yield 14 residential units, ground-floor retail space, and a community facility at the intersection of Hudson and Canal Streets, just to the west of the entrance to the Holland Tunnel.
Construction is coming to a close on 102 Charlton Street, a 21-story residential building in Hudson Square. Designed by Ismael Leyva Architects and developed by Lalezarian Properties, the 210-foot-tall structure yields 59,323 square feet and 61 units. The property is located on the south side of the block between Greenwich and Hudson Streets.
The affordable housing lottery has launched for 7 Dey Street, a 34-story mixed-use building designed by FXCollaborative in the Financial District of Manhattan. The lottery is run in cooperation with SL Green, NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development, and non-profit Settlement Housing Fund. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 63 units for residents at 70 to 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $45,566 to $167,570.
A new rendering has been posted for 15 Beekman Street, a 27-story academic center and dormitory for Pace University in the Financial District. Designed by Manish Chadha of Ismael Leyva Architects and developed by SL Green Realty, the 338-foot-tall structure will be alternatively addressed as 126-132 Nassau Street and yield 213,084 square feet of classrooms, dorms, a dining facility, a library, and a learning center. The building will also include a cellar, sub-cellar, and a 20-foot-long rear yard. New Line Structures & Development LLC is the general contractor for the project, which is being built on a plot at the corner of Beekman and Nassau Streets.
The final steel façade is making its way up the sides of 76 Eighth Avenue, a ten-story commercial building in Greenwich Village. Gene Kaufman Architect designed the exterior, while RAAD Studios designed the lobby interior and Plus Design Studios did the office floor interiors. Sang Lee, Noviprop, and Plus Development are the developers of the 120-foot-tall structure, which will yield 30,000 square feet of office space and ground-floor retail at the corner of Eighth Avenue and West 14th Street, on the border of the Meatpacking District, Chelsea and West Village neighborhoods.
