Work Nears Completion for 110 University Place in Greenwich Village

William Macklowe’s 23-story mixed-use project in Greenwich Village is nearing completion. 110 University Place, aka 21 East 12th Street, is nearly finished, with construction with work on the lower two-story podium still underway. The project is a 52-unit tower designed by SLCE Architects. CNY Group is in charge of the construction, and 110 University Place contains just under 108,000 square feet of space.

Google Eyeing St. John’s Terminal Expansion in the West Village, Manhattan

Expect an additional 8,500 Google employees in Manhattan if the giant tech company scores a deal for St. John’s Terminal, at 550 Washington Street. If you’ve lost count, it adds up to a projected 19K Googlers working in the city. That includes the 7,000 headcount (as of early 2018) in their current office space at 111 8th Avenue near Chelsea Market, and the 3,500-staff member expansion currently in the works as a result of Google’s $2.4 billion purchase of 300,000 square feet at Chelsea Market and another 250,000 square feet at Pier 57.

New Renderings Released As 77 Greenwich Street Begins Climb in The Financial District

77 Greenwich Street is already at its fourth floor, and now, a new teaser website for the 500-foot, 42-story residential tower has launched, accompanied by fresh renderings. Trinity Place Holdings is developing the ground-up Financial District project, with FXCollaborative serving as the architect. The podium will eventually house a grade school and retail space. Interiors are being designed by Deborah Berke Partners, the same firm who helmed interiors for 432 Park Avenue.
