67 Vestry’s Residential Transformation and Expansion Revealed in Tribeca

Renderings have been revealed for 67 Vestry Street, a full-building renovation in Tribeca, adjacent to Hudson River Park. Located at the corner of West Street and Vestry Street, the corner building is under construction, rising from 115 feet and 9 stories to 153 feet and 13 stories. Iliad Realty Group is developing the 13-unit condominium building after purchasing the site for $55.5 million in 2017. BP Architects is listed as the architect of record with Gachot Studios responsible for interiors. Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group is the exclusive marketing and sales agent.

No. 33 Park Row’s Steel Façade Reaches Pinnacle in Financial District

The black steel façade has reached the parapet of No.33 Park Row, aka Pearl on the Park, a 331-foot-tall residential building in the Civic Center section of the Financial District. Designed by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners and developed by Centurion Real Estate Partners and Urban Muse, the 25-story structure stands at the corner of Park Row and Beekman Street, directly across from City Hall Park. No. 33 Park Row is set to yield 30 units and a total of 95,000 square feet of newly built space.

161 Maiden Lane’s Glass Curtain Wall Resumes Its Rise, In The Financial District

Façade work is progressing on Seaport Residences, a 670-foot-tall residential skyscraper at 161 Maiden Lane in the Financial District. Formally addressed as One Seaport, the topped-out 60-story building is designed by Hill West Architects and developed by Fortis Property Group LLC and will yield 80 units. Groves & Co is serving as the interior designer for the 200,000-square-foot structure, and sales will be handled by Douglas Elliman Development Marketing. Ray Builders is the current contractor for the project.

Permits Filed for 268 East 2nd Street in the East Village, Manhattan

Permits have been filed for Freedom Village, a 13-story residential building at 268 East 2nd Street in Manhattan’s East Village. Located at the intersection of Avenue C and East 2nd Street, the corner lot is three avenue blocks east of the 2nd Avenue subway station, serviced by the F train. Non-profit Barrier Free Living is listed as the owner behind the applications. YIMBY revealed renderings and details of a housing development at 270 East 2nd Street by this developer in December 2018. It is unclear if the design have changed with this permit filing.
