775 Washington Street’s Expansion and Renovation Nears Completion in Manhattan’s West Village

Renovation and expansion work is nearing completion on 775 Washington Street, a four-story residential building in the Greenwich Village Historic District of Manhattan’s West Village. Designed by Leroy Street Studio and developed by Winter Properties, the project consists of the construction of a two-story steel-framed glass volume above a former two-story garage, and will yield three condominium units. Sciame Construction is the general contractor for the property, which is alternately addressed as 371 West 12th Street and located at the corner of Washington and West 12th Streets.

The Keller’s Exterior Progresses at 150 Barrow Street in Manhattan’s West Village

Construction is progressing on The Keller, a residential project at 150 Barrow Street in Manhattan‘s West Village. Designed by BKSK Architects and developed by Aurora Capital, the project involves the construction of a new seven-story structure at 144 Barrow Street and the renovation of the former Keller Hotel, and will yield 24 condominium units in one- to four-bedroom layouts. Titanium Construction Services is the general contractor and Compass Development Marketing Group is handling sales and marketing for the property, which is located at the corner of Barrow and West Streets, directly across from Hudson River Park.

Interior Renderings Revealed for Tribeca Green at 210 Warren Street in Battery Park City, Manhattan

Related Companies has shared a new collection of photos for its debut of Tribeca Green’s freshly renovated apartments and amenity spaces. Located at 210 Warren Street in Battery Park City, Manhattan, the building was designed by Robert A.M. Stern and completed in 2000. Today, the building houses 273 condominiums, hospitality-inspired amenity spaces, and offers clear views of the Hudson River, Teardrop Park, and the surrounding downtown landscape.

111 Wall Street’s New Curtain Wall Reaches Upper Levels in Financial District, Manhattan

Renovation work is moving along on 111 Wall Street, a 25-story commercial building in Manhattan’s Financial District. Designed by STUDIOS Architecture and developed by Wafra Capital Partners and The Nightingale Group, the $100 million project involves the replacement of the structure’s midcentury façade with a modern glass curtain wall and the full gut renovation of its 1.5 million square feet of office space, as well as the construction of an expanded lobby and amenity spaces designed by URBN Playground on the lower floors. Hunter Roberts Construction Group is the general contractor and JLL is handling leasing for the property, which is bound by Wall Street and Mannahatta Park to the northeast, Front Street to the northwest, South Street and the FDR Drive to the southeast, and Gouverneur Lane to the southwest.

Finishing Touches Underway on 145 Perry Street Mega Mansion in Manhattan’s West Village

Construction is getting closer to completion on 145 Perry Street, a four-story private residence in Manhattan’s West Village. Designed by Leroy Street Studio with Robert Silman Associates Structural Engineers, the structure measures 30,000 square feet and replaces a former two-story parking garage. Sciame Construction is the construction manager for the property, which is alternately addressed as 703-711 Washington Street and is located at the corner of Perry and Washington Streets.

StubHub Relocates Headquarters to 3 World Trade Center in Financial District, Manhattan

StubHub, one of the world’s largest online destinations for ticketed live events, will establish its new headquarters at 3 World Trade Center in Manhattan’s Financial District. In an effort to consolidate its commercial footprint, the company will close multiple locations in Midtown, and instead occupy 44,000 square feet of 3 World Trade Center’s 59th floor.

27 Park Place’s Renovation Nears Completion in Tribeca, Manhattan

Exterior work is nearing completion on 27 Park Place, a five-story commercial building in Tribeca. Designed by Michael Schmitt Architect PC, the project involves a full gut renovation and exterior restoration to remediate damage from a six-alarm fire that ravaged the structure in September 2017. Empire State Development is the general contractor for the property, which is bound by Murray Street to the north, Park Place to the south, and Church Street to the west.

Redesign Revealed for 45 Broad Street in Manhattan’s Financial District

YIMBY spotted a series of new exterior renderings for 45 Broad Street, a long-stalled site located in the Financial District of Lower Manhattan. Originally designed by CetraRuddy and developed by Madison Equities and Gemdale Properties, the formerly planned 1,115-foot supertall residential skyscraper appears to have a new and shorter undisclosed architectural height with a completely new design by Handel Architects. Lendlease will be the general contractor and take over from Pizzarotti LLC for the ground-up development, which will have 221,000 square feet of rentable space, 302 units most likely being condominiums, and 52 floors built atop a narrow interior lot between Exchange Place and Beaver Street.

Museum of Jewish Heritage Reviews Plans for Genealogy Research Center in Battery Park City, Manhattan

The Museum of Jewish Heritage is currently reviewing plans to build a new genealogy research center at its facility at 36 Battery Place in Battery Park City. Named the Peter and Mary Kalikow Genealogy Research Center, the waterfront expansion will provide visitors with Jewish genealogy resources through JewishGen, a non-profit organization and affiliate of the museum.

Hotel Indigo Completes Construction at 50 Trinity Place in Financial District, Manhattan

Construction is complete on 50 Trinity Place, a 28-story Hotel Indigo in the Financial District. Designed by Peter Poon Architects and developed by FIT Investment Corporation, the 311-foot-tall structure yields 77,310 square feet and 173 guest rooms. Cauldwell Wingate was the general contractor for the Lower Manhattan project, which is located at the southwest corner of Trinity Place and Rector Street, diagonally across from Trinity Church.
