67 Vestry Street’s Expansion Tops Out in Tribeca, Manhattan

Construction has topped out on the vertical expansion of 67 Vestry Street, a 13-story residential building on the Hudson River waterfront in Tribeca. Designed by BP Architects and developed by Iliad Realty Group, the project involves the addition of four stories atop a historic 88,712-square-foot Romanesque structure and will yield 13 condominium units with interiors by Gachot Studios. Urban Atelier Group is the general contractor and King Contracting Group is handling the masonry work for the property, which is located at the corner of Vestry Street and West Street, directly across from Hudson River Park.

450 Washington Street’s Façade Renovations Take Shape in Tribeca, Manhattan

Renovation work is progressing steadily on 450 Washington, a 12-story residential building at 450 Washington Street on the Hudson River waterfront in Tribeca. Designed by Roger Ferris + Partners and developed by Related Companies, the project involves the replacement of the structure’s windows, extensive interior refurbishments, and conversion of the former rental units into 176 condominiums. Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group is handling sales and marketing for units ranging from studios to four-bedroom homes, with pricing ranging from around $1 million to $10 million. Hollander Design is the landscape architect for the property, which occupies a full block parcel bound by Watts Street to the north, Desbrosses Street to the south, Washington Street to the east, and West Street to the west.

Aloft Hotel’s Façade Nears Completion at 50 Trinity Place in Financial District, Manhattan

Exterior work is nearing completion on 50 Trinity Place, a 28-story Aloft Hotel in the Financial District. Designed by Peter Poon Architects and developed by FIT Investment Corporation, the 77,310-square-foot tower will yield 173 guest rooms. Cauldwell Wingate is serving as the general contractor for the project, which is located at the corner of Trinity Place and Rector Street, diagonally across from Trinity Church.

Disney Headquarters’ Terracotta Façade Progresses at Four Hudson Square in Hudson Square, Manhattan

Exterior work is continuing on The Walt Disney Company’s new 22-story headquarters at Four Hudson Square in Hudson Square, Manhattan. Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and developed by Silverstein Properties, the 338-foot-tall structure will yield 1.2 million square feet of office space, film and production studios, and ground-floor retail. Lendlease is the general contractor for the property, which is alternatively addressed as 137 Varick Street and occupies a full-block parcel bound by Vandam Street to the north, Spring Street to the south, Varick Street to the east, and Hudson Street to the west.

456 Greenwich Street Completes Construction in Tribeca, Manhattan

Construction is complete on 456 Greenwich Street, an eight-story hotel building in Tribeca. Designed by Stephen B. Jacobs Group and developed by Caspi Development, the 94,000-square-foot structure yields 96 Art Deco-inspired guest rooms with interiors by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio. Groupe Lucien Barrière of the Hôtel Barrière Le Fouquet’s Paris is the operator of the property, which is bound by Greenwich Street to the east, Desbrosses Street to the south, and Washington Street to the west.
