90 Morton Street Opens for Occupancy in the West Village

Construction has reached full completion at 90 Morton Street, a 12-story condominium building in the West Village. Designed by Asaf Gottesman of Gottesman-Szmelcman Architecture and developed by Brack Capital Real Estate, the 150-foot-tall project involved a rooftop addition on an eight-story industrial building that once housed a printing warehouse. The structure yields 122,000 square feet with interior design by Marc Turkel of Leroy Street Studio. Reuveni Real Estate is leading sales and marketing of the 35 units, which hit the market in April 2018 with prices starting at $5.3 million.

New renderings and details of 250 Water Street were revealed yesterday, depicting a mixed-use development significantly smaller in size and scope than the supertall previously speculated. Developed by the Howard Hughes Corporation and designed by Skidmore Owings & Merrill, the two-tower high rise is a bit underwhelming in contrast to the 1,000-foot-tall design that would have become the tallest structure in lower Manhattan.

60 Charlton Street’s Glass Addition Nears Completion in Hudson Square

Exterior work is nearing completion on the six-story addition atop 60 Charlton Street, an office building in Hudson Square. Alternately addressed as 163 Varick Street, the project is designed by HOK and co-developed by APF Properties, Kenneth Aschendorf, and Berndt Perl, with Stuart Milstein of Drake Street Properties, and brings the structure’s total height to 12 stories and 191 feet tall.

Designed by Davis Brody Bond and developed by RAL Development, the structure will yield 240,000 square feet of affordable and market-rate office space for technology firms and amenities for occupants. Financial partners Junius Real Estate Partners and Suffolk Construction are also helping to develop the property.
