Work is finishing up on 151 Mercer Street, the new four-story flagship store for Tory Burch. O’Neil Langan Architects designed the 10,000-square-foot SoHo project, which replaces an old two-story garage that formerly occupied the site. City agencies have kicked off construction on a 21-story “tech hub” at 124 East 14th Street in Manhattan, just east of Union Square. Known officially as the Union Square Tech Training Center, the project is poised to accelerate the diversification of New York City’s technology sector through the provision of education facilities, vocational training, and on-site resources for local start-ups.

Grand Street Guild Housing Development is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The unique curtain wall of 130 William Street has climbed past the halfway mark of the topped-out 800-foot-tall skyscraper. Located in the Financial District, the reinforced concrete tower is David Adjaye’s first high-rise in New York City. Hill West Architects is the architect of record, while Lightstone Group is the developer of the 66-story residential project. Unit prices for the 242 residences range from around $1,300,000 for a one-bedroom to $20,000,000 for a four-bedroom, full-floor penthouse. Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group is handling sales and marketing of the homes.

Following lukewarm feedback from the commission, new renderings reveal an overall reduction of mass including structural height, exterior cladding, and shape.
