Permits Filed for Riverside Center Building 1, 400 West 61st Street
Last week, YIMBY revealed tentative renderings for Building 1 at Riverside Center, and now plans have been filed for a third, 37-story tower in the five-building megaproject, at 400 West 61st Street.
Tamarkin Plans Residential Conversion of Six-Story 555 West End Avenue, Upper West Side
Curbed reports that Cary Tamarkin is planning a residential conversion and expansion of 555 West End Avenue, a six-story structure on the Upper West Side, at West 87th Street. The building was acquired for $50 million last October, and Tamarkin is also designing the project, which will be presented before the LPC later this month.
32-Unit Mixed-Use Project Planned for 400 Lenox Avenue, Harlem
Pentacostal Faith Church has filed applications for an eight-story, 32-unit mixed-use building at the vacant corner-lot of 400 Lenox Avenue, in Harlem, at West 130th Street. Within the 31,950 square-foot structure, a religious facility will measure 8,100 square feet, and commercial space will take up another 1,940 square feet; Zambrano Architectural Design is the architect of record, and the site’s three-story predecessor was demolished in 2005.
15-Story, 38-Unit Mixed-Use Building Planned at 1647 First Avenue, Yorkville
Marin Management Corp. has filed applications at 1647-1651 1st Avenue, in Yorkville, for a 15-story, 38-unit mixed-use building measuring nearly 59,500 square feet. The retail component will take up 1,780 square feet, and DJ Associates Architect is designing. The assemblage includes three four- and five-story tenement buildings on the corner of East 86th Street, and demolition permits have not been filed yet.
