DOB Approves 30-Story Mixed-Use Tower at 3875 Ninth Avenue in Inwood, Manhattan

The New York City Department of Buildings recently approved applications to construct a new 30-story mixed-use property at 3875 Ninth Avenue in Manhattan. The development is located at the waterfront edge of Inwood and will create over 600 units of affordable and middle-income housing, roughly 62,000 square feet of retail space positioned on the lower levels of the building, and 122 parking spaces.

HPD Reveals Plans for New Afro-Latin Music and Arts Center and Nearly 600 Affordable Homes in East Harlem

The New York City Department of Housing Development and Preservation (HPD) has revealed two large-scale mixed-use properties in East Harlem that will create a new Afro-Latin Music and Arts (ALMA) Center and 600 affordable housing units. The ALMA Center will be operated by the Afro Latin Jazz Alliance and the housing units will serve low-income families and the formerly homeless.

212 West 93rd Street’s Façade Nears Completion on Manhattan’s Upper West Side

Exterior work is approaching completion on 212 West 93rd Street, a 14-story condominium building on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by Eran Chen, head of ODA, the 65,000-square-foot project is being developed by Landsea Homes and Leyton Properties, which acquired the 9,000-square-foot plot from the Shaare Zedek Congregation for $34.3 million. The property will yield 20 units designed by GRADE New York and marketed by The Lindsey Stokes Team, a division of real estate brokerage Compass. Homes will range from one- to four-bedroom layouts with some full-floor penthouses. The property will also contain the Shaare Zedek Synagogue, which will have its own separate entrance on the first floor.
