1487 First Avenue Reaches Halfway Mark On Manhattan’s Upper East Side

Construction has reached the halfway mark on 1487 First Avenue, a 35-story residential building on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by Hill West Architects and developed by Carmel Partners, which purchased the property from Robert Chou for $73.5 million in early 2022, the 404-foot-tall structure will yield 206 condominium units, 7,120 square feet of ground-floor retail space, and a cellar level. CP VII 78th Street Owner is the owner and Carmel Construction East is the general contractor for the project, which is located at the southwestern corner of First Avenue and East 78th Street.

50 West 66th Street’s Crown Progresses on Manhattan’s Upper West Side

Construction is closing in on the pinnacle of 50 West 66th Street, a 69-story residential skyscraper on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by Snøhetta with SLCE Architects as the executive architect and developed by Extell and Tennor Holding, the 775-foot-tall structure will yield 127 condominium units and claim the title of the tallest building in the neighborhood. Lendlease is the general contractor for the project, which is located on an interior lot between Columbus Avenue and Central Park West with frontage on both West 65th and West 66th Streets.

Foundations for Victoria and Lloyd Goldman Health Care Pavilion Take Shape at 1345 Third Avenue on Mannattan’s Upper East Side

Foundation work is progressing for the Victoria and Lloyd Goldman Health Care Pavilion, formerly called the Northwell Medical Pavilion, a 15-story medical facility for Lenox Hill Hospital at 1345 Third Avenue on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by Ennead Architects with EwingCole as the medical architect and developed by Northwell Health and The University Financing Foundation, the 200,000-square-foot outpatient center will stand nearly 215 feet tall and offer specialized cancer care services, imaging and lab testing, cardiac care, neuroscience programs, a sleep study center, acute and chronic disease management, social work services, and more. JB&B is the MEP engineer, Severud Associates is the structural engineer, and Lendlease is the general contractor for the $450 million project, which is located in Lenox Hill between East 76th and East 77th Streets.

266 West 96th Street Finishes Construction on Manhattan’s Upper West Side

Construction is wrapping up on 266 West 96th Street, a 23-story residential building on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by Fetner Properties, the 235-foot-tall structure yields 171 rental units with 68 dedicated to affordable housing, as well as 8,961 square feet of community facility space. Urban Atelier Group is the general contractor for the property, which is located on an interior lot between West End Avenue and Broadway.

Demolition Work Underway At 1448 Third Avenue On Manhattan’s Upper East Side

Demolition work is moving along at 1448 Third Avenue, the site of an upcoming 39-story residential tower in the Yorkville section of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by CetraRuddy Architecture and developed by Douglaston Development under the 170 E 83 Owner, LLC, the 478-foot-tall structure will span 287,632 square feet and yield 125 units with an average scope of 1,804 square feet, as well as 40,864 square feet of commercial space and 21,224 square feet of community facility space. There will also be a cellar level and a 20-foot-long rear yard. Levine Builders is the general contractor for the property, which is alternately addressed as 170 East 83rd Street and bound by Third Avenue to the east, East 82nd Street to the south, and East 83rd Street to the north. Only the southern half of the building will be demolished.

The Rockwell Finishes Construction at 2688 Broadway On Manhattan’s Upper West Side

Construction is complete on The Rockwell, a 13-story residential building at 2688 Broadway on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by Hill West Architects and Whitehall Interiors, and developed in collaboration by Toll Brothers, which also served as the general contractor, and Sculptor under the 2686-2690 Broadway LLC, the structure yields 81 condominium units in studio to three-bedroom layouts and ground-floor retail space that is slated to be occupied by a CVS Pharmacy. The property is located at the southeast corner of West 103rd Street and Broadway.

The Harper Completes Construction At 310 East 86th Street On Manhattan’s Upper East Side

Construction is complete on The Harper, a 21-story residential building at 310 East 86th Street in the Yorkville section of the Upper East Side. Designed by ODA Architecture and developed by Izaki Group Investments (IGI-USA), the 145,000-square-foot structure yields 63 condominium units in two- to four-bedroom layouts with prices starting at $2.1 million, as well as ground-floor retail space. Hunter Roberts Construction Group served as the general contractor and CORE is handling sales and marketing for the property, which is located between First and Second Avenues.

Exterior Work Wraps Up on 250 East 83rd Street on Manhattan’s Upper East Side

Construction is finishing up on 250 East 83rd Street, a 31-story residential tower in the Yorkville section of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by The Torkian Group, the 370-foot-tall structure will span 215,608 square feet and yield 128 rental units with interiors by Lemay_id, as well as ground-floor retail space. Cauldwell Wingate Company is the general contractor for the property, which is located at the corner of Second Avenue and East 83rd Street.

Anagram Finishes Construction at 1 West 60th Street on Manhattan’s Upper West Side

Construction is wrapping up on Anagram, a 26-story residential tower at 1 West 60th Street on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by INC Architecture & Design with SLCE Architects as the architect of record and developed by Global Holdings Management Group, the 281-foot-tall structure spans 180,813 square feet and yields 123 rental units with interiors by The Setting, as well as 20,000 square feet of retail space on the first two levels. Pavarini McGovern is the general contractor and DeSimone Consulting Engineers is the façade consultant for the property, which is alternately addressed as 1841 Broadway and located at the corner of Broadway and West 60th Street, just north of Columbus Circle and the southwest corner of Central Park.

Designed by Beyer Blinder Belle and developed by EJS Development, the structure will yield 36 condominium units in two- to six-bedroom layouts with interiors by Yellow House Architects.
