1345 Third Avenue Nears Completion on Manhattan’s Upper East Side

Construction is nearing completion on The Victoria and Lloyd Goldman Health Care Pavilion, a 15-story medical building for Lenox Hill Hospital at 1345 Third Avenue on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by Ennead Architects and developed by Northwell Health and the University Financing Foundation, the 215-foot-tall structure will span 200,000 square feet. The $450 million facility will contain outpatient treatment space for specialized cancer care services, imaging and lab testing, cardiac care, neuroscience programs, a sleep study center, acute and chronic disease management, social work services, and more. The property is located in Lenox Hill between East 76th and 77th Streets.

500 East 81st Street Nears Topping Out on Manhattan’s Upper East Side

Construction has reached the upper levels of 501 East 81st Street, a ten-story residential building in the Yorkville section of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. S20M is the design architect, Zproekt Architecture is the project architect, and Rybak Development is developing the 100-foot-tall structure is planned to span 37,378 square feet with an undisclosed number of units, likely condominiums based on the design firm’s history in the neighborhood. The building will also have a cellar level and three enclosed parking spaces. S20M is the design architect for the project, which stands on a 3,104-square-foot property at the southeast corner of York Avenue and East 81st Street.

YIMBY has an exclusive look at the first new rendering for 200 West 88th Street, an 18-story residential currently rising on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by Robert A. M. Stern Architects and developed by Nortco Development, the 215-foot-tall structure will span 114,000 square feet and yield 37 condominium units. The building will also contain ground-floor retail space and enclosed parking spaces on the second level. The property is alternately addressed as 568-574 Amsterdam Avenue and located at the corner of West 88th Street and Amsterdam Avenue.

Renderings have been revealed for the redevelopment of 831–837 Madison Avenue on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by David Chipperfield Architects for Akris Inc., the project involves the construction of a 16-story residential tower at 831 Madison Avenue as well as the restoration and partial expansion of three late-19th-century row homes at 833–837 Madison Avenue. The new structure would stand nearly 200 feet tall. SLCE Architects is the architect of record for the property, which is located between East 69th and 70th Streets within the Upper East Side Historic District.

A new rendering has been revealed for 1482 First Avenue, a 30-story residential tower on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by Hill West Architects with Paris Forino as the interior designer and developed by Alchemy-ABR, the 395-foot-tall structure will span 161,000 square feet and yield 86 rental units and 343 square feet of commercial space. The property is comprised of two conjoined interior lots by the intersection of First Avenue and East 77th Street.

Renderings Revealed for 809 Madison Avenue’s Expansion on Manhattan’s Upper East Side

Renderings have been revealed for the expansion and residential reconfiguration of 809 Madison Avenue, a 12-story building on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by Robert A. M. Stern Architects and developed by Harry Macklowe of Macklowe Properties and SK Development, the project involves the addition of three floors above the existing roof, as well as a full renovation to convert its interiors into single-floor condominium units with an average scope of 4,000 square feet. The 159-foot-tall structure will also be expanded horizontally on its eastern elevation and will get new, larger windows. The roof-level addition will house a sprawling penthouse with a 1,500-square-foot private terrace. SLCE Architects is the architect of record for the property, which is located at the corner of Madison Avenue and East 68th Street.

Rendering Revealed for 1578 Lexington Avenue in East Harlem, Manhattan

A rendering has been revealed for 1578 Lexington Avenue, a 13-story medical office and community facility building in East Harlem, Manhattan. Designed by Kutnicki Bernstein Architects and developed by Slate Property Group and Evenhar Development Corporation, the project is slated to house Mount Sinai Health System programs across 150,000 square feet of space. The remaining portions of the building will feature the new East Harlem Center operated by Children’s Aid, covering nearly 19,000 square feet across the lower levels, as well as a new home for Life Changers Church on the ground and lower levels. The property is located at the corner of East 101st Street.

Housing Lottery Launches for 205 Cabrini Boulevard in Washington Heights, Manhattan

Designed by Rise Architecture and developed by Yisroel Eckstein under the Gold Chip Ventures LLC, the structure yields 21 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are seven units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $131,760 to $227,500.

Demolition is nearing completion at 625 Madison Avenue, the site of a planned 1,310-foot residential supertall skyscraper in Midtown East, Manhattan. Developed by Related Companies under the 625 Mad Realty LLC, the 68-story structure is slated to span 496,000 square feet and yield 101 condominium units with an average scope of 4,918 square feet. The project will also include nearly 75,000 square feet of retail space on the first two levels, a fourth-floor restaurant and private dining area, and a suite of amenities. The multi-billion-dollar project will rise along Madison Avenue between East 58th and 59th Streets.
