New Renderings Revealed For 200 East 75th Street on Manhattan’s Upper East Side

New renderings have been revealed for 200 East 75th Street, an 18-story residential building under construction in the Lenox Hill section of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by Beyer Blinder Belle and developed by EJS Development, which purchased the property for $32.5 million in March 2021, the topped-out 214-foot-tall structure will span 97,569 square feet and yield 36 condominium units and ground-floor retail space. Triton Construction Industry is the general contractor for the project, which is alternately addressed as 1305-1307 Third Avenue and located at the intersection of Third Avenue and East 75th Street.

Permits Filed for 502 East 81st Street on the Upper East Side of Manhattan

Permits have been filed for a 10-story residential building at 502 East 81st Street on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Located between York Avenue and East End Avenue, the lot is closest to the 86th Street subway station, serviced by the Q train. Rybak Development is listed as the owner behind the applications.

Housing Lottery Launches for 21 West End Avenue on the Upper West Side, Manhattan

An affordable housing lottery waiting list has launched for 21 West End Avenue, a 48-story mixed-use building built in 2016 on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Developed by Dermot Company and designed by SLCE Architects, the structure yields 616 residences. On NYC Housing Connect is a waiting list to fill four studios and one one-bedroom available now as well as for future vacancies for residents at 40 and 50 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $22,626 to $87,550.

Avison Young Arranges Sale Of 803 Madison Avenue on Manhattan’s Upper East Side

Avison Young has facilitated the sale of a vacant mixed-use building at 803 Madison Avenue on Manhattan‘s Upper East Side for $14.5 million. The property, previously occupied by lingerie brand LaPerla until 2021, was sold on behalf of the owner, Philip Sprayregen.

Governor Kathy Hochul recently announced the addition of the Central Harlem North Historic District to the New York State and National Registers of Historic Places, marking it as one of 37 new historic sites recognized for their cultural and historical significance across the state of New York. This urban residential district spans approximately ten city blocks in Manhattan‘s Harlem neighborhood.

300 East 83rd Street’s Exterior Progresses on Manhattan’s Upper East Side

Work is progressing on 300 East 83rd Street, a 22-story residential building in the Yorkville section of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by Lalezarian Properties, the 235-foot-tall structure will span 93,682 square feet and yield 70 condominium units with an average scope of 1,305 square feet, as well as cellar level and ground-floor retail space. A portion of the homes will be reserved for affordable housing. Hudson 37 LLC is the general contractor for the project, which is alternately addressed as 1594-1598 Second Avenue and located at the corner of East 83rd Street and Second Avenue.

1487 First Avenue Rises Above Street Level on Manhattan’s Upper East Side

Construction is rising on 1487 First Avenue, a 35-story residential building on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by Hill West Architects and developed by Carmel Partners, which purchased the property from Robert Chou for $73.5 million in early 2022, the 404-foot-tall structure will yield 206 condominium units, 7,120 square feet of ground-floor retail space, and a cellar level. CP VII 78th Street Owner is the owner and Carmel Construction East is the general contractor for the project, which is located at the southwestern corner of First Avenue and East 78th Street.

LPC To Review Proposal For Renovations to West 85th Street Playground on Manhattan’s Upper West Side

The Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) is set to review plans for the reconstruction of the West 85th Street Playground, located within Central Park on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Led by the Central Park Conservancy, the project aims to modernize the play area formerly known as the Spector Playground, while making it more accessible and inclusive for various mobility needs.

Anagram Wraps Up at 1 West 60th Street on Manhattan’s Upper West Side

Construction is wrapping up on Anagram, a 25-story residential at 1 West 60th Street on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by INC Architecture & Design with SLCE Architects as the architect of record and developed by Global Holdings Management Group, the 281-foot-tall structure spans 180,813 square feet and yield 123 market-rate and affordable housing units with interiors by The Setting, as well as 20,000 square feet of retail space on the first two levels. Pavarini McGovern is the general contractor and DeSimone Consulting Engineers is the façade consultant for the property, which is alternately addressed as 1841 Broadway and located at the corner of Broadway and West 60th Street, just north of Columbus Circle and the southwest corner of Central Park.

Snøhetta’s 50 West 66th Street Climbs Higher Above Manhattan’s Upper West Side

The seventh-tallest building on our year-end construction countdown is 50 West 66th Street, a 775-foot-tall residential skyscraper on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by Snøhetta with SLCE Architects as the executive architect and developed by Extell and Tennor Holding, the 69-story structure will yield 127 condominium units and claim the title as the tallest building in the neighborhood. Lendlease is the general contractor for the project, which is located on an interior lot between Columbus Avenue and Central Park West with frontage on both West 65th and West 66th Streets.
