YIMBY Scopes the Views From 200 Amsterdam Avenue on the Upper West Side

YIMBY recently went on a hard hat tour to take in the views from 200 Amsterdam Avenue, the Upper West Side‘s tallest building. Designed by Elkus Manfredi Architects and developed by SJP Properties, the 668-foot-tall residential skyscraper is topped out and is awaiting the completion of its distinctive crown. CetraRuddy is the lead interior designer for the 283,000-square-foot project.

180 East 88th Street’s Façade Nears Completion on the Upper East SIde

The brick and architecturally finished concrete façade of 180 East 88th Street is getting very close to completion. The 31-story reinforced concrete skyscraper holds the title of the tallest structure on the Upper East Side above 72nd Street. The residential project is designed by DDG, with HTO Architects serving as the architect of record. Petersen Tegl, a Denmark-based firm, is in charge of the Kolumba masonry brick façade. The narrow property will yield 100,242 square feet of residential space, averaging 2,088 square feet per unit. There will also be 10,255 square feet of residential amenities and 1,093 square feet of communal facilities on the lower part of the superstructure.

YIMBY has new photographs of the completed exterior of 250 West 81st Street, as well as interior views of the amenities at the 18-story Upper West Side condominium building. Designed by Robert A. M. Stern Architects with Hill West Architects as the architect of record, Alchemy Properties is the developer of the site, and Stribling Marketing Associates is managing sales for the building’s 31 condominiums, which average 2,700 square feet apiece. Sales are in partnership with Alchemy Properties and Stribling Marketing Associates.

Foundations Begin Taking Shape at 148 East 78th Street on the Upper East Side

The foundations are taking shape at 148 East 78th Street on the Upper East Side, where a 205-foot-tall residential building is set to rise. Located at the corner of East 78th Street and Lexington Avenue, the structure is designed by Ismael Leyva Architects and developed by Midwood Management Corp. Construction workers are currently forming the reinforced concrete perimeter walls for the condominium project, which will yield 26 residences averaging 2,600 square feet each.
