Brookfield’s First New York City Supertall, One Manhattan West, Nearing Finish Line

Standing high above Midtown and Hudson Yards on West 33rd Street, One Manhattan West is the first supertall Brookfield has developed in New York City. With 67 floors and 2.1 million square feet of office space, the 995-foot-tall glass building is the 12th-tallest tower under construction in New York, and will eventually be joined by its shorter twin counterpart, Two Manhattan West. They will be two of six components to the Manhattan West project that will bring a total of nearly six million square feet of new office, commercial, residential, retail and public space to Midtown West. Skidmore Owings & Merrill is the designer of the two glass office towers.

220 Central Park South And Its $250 Million Quadruplex Penthouse Nearly Finished Atop Billionaire’s Row

As the 13th-tallest skyscraper under construction in New York City, Robert A. M. Stern’s 220 Central Park South was the third new major residential tower to rise along Billionaire’s Row, just after One57 and 432 Park Avenue. Enclosed in Alabama Silver Shadow limestone, the upcoming 950-foot building yields 70 floors of some of the most prime real estate in New York City, overlooking Central Park and Midtown. Vornado Realty Trust is in charge of the development, while SLCE Architects is the architect of record. The project sellout is expected to be around $3.4 billion.

Foundation Work Making Headway For Moinian’s 3 Hudson Boulevard, in Hudson Yards

Situated immediately to the north of Hudson Yards’ first phase, 3 Hudson Boulevard sits at the corner of West 34th Street and Eleventh Avenue. Seen through the crowded perimeter of trailers, trucks, and mechanical equipment, one can get a small glimpse at the amount of progress the site has made since excavation officially began about one year ago. The tower is currently the 14th-tallest skyscraper under construction in New York City, and will rise 53 floors and 940 feet to its rooftop when complete. FXCollaborative is the designer, while the Moinian Group is the developer of the two million square foot project.
