Central Park Tower’s Construction Crane Begins Disassembly Above Billionaires’ Row

The construction crane on Extell‘s Central Park Tower has begun disassembly at 217 West 57th Street in Midtown as the 1,550-foot-tall skyscraper moves closer to completion. Designed by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill, the residential supertall boasts the highest roof level of any building in the Western Hemisphere. Extell is projecting a $4 billion sellout with its in-house team marketing the 179 residences.

Exterior Finishes Still Progressing on 7 West 57th Street in Midtown

Exterior work is still wrapping up on 7 West 57th Street, a 19-story mixed-use residential project in Midtown. External progress has slowed down over the past months, while the state of the interiors remains unclear. The topped-out building is designed by Hill West Architects and developed by Solow Realty & Development Group, which purchased the property along Billionaires’ Row 14 years ago for $25,550,000. Vidaris is the envelope consultant for the 237-foot-tall structure.

Three Hudson Boulevard Set for Vertical Ascent in Hudson Yards

Construction is set to rise at Three Hudson Boulevard, a planned $3 billion office skyscraper designed by FXCollaborative for both Boston Properties and The Moinian Group. The 56-story Hudson Yards development is expected to culminate with a roof parapet of around 940 feet and yield a total of 1.86 million square feet. The interiors will feature column-free floor plates, private outdoor terraces for select suites, and prime views of the Manhattan skyline, Hudson Yards, and the nearby Hudson River.
