Renderings Revealed for 1490 McDonald Ave in Mapleton, Brooklyn

New renderings have been revealed for 1490 McDonald Ave, an upcoming 12-story mixed-use building in Mapleton, Brooklyn. Designed by C3D Architecture, the 185,000-square-foot structure will yield office space, a community facility, parking for tenants, a public plaza, and a space for a restaurant and cafe. The 29,500-square-foot trapezoidal property is bound by Washington Cemetery to the north, Avenue M to the south, McDonald Avenue to the east, and a number of low-rise warehouses and commercial facilities to the west.

372 Wallabout Street Nears Completion in South Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Construction is nearing completion on 372 Wallabout Street, a five-story mixed-use building in the Broadway Triangle section of South Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Designed by Diego Aguilera Architects P.C., the 65-foot-tall structure will span 8,100 square feet and yield six units with an average scope of 867 square feet, as well as 2,900 square feet of community facility space. The building sits on a 2,500-square-foot plot between Throop and Harrison Avenues.

140 Hillside Avenue Nears Completion in Fort George, Manhattan

Façade installation is nearing completion on 140 Hillside Avenue, a seven-story residential building in Fort George, Manhattan. Designed by J Frankl Associates and developed by Read Property Group, the structure will span 26,466 square feet and yield 20 condominium units with an average scope of more than 1,000 square feet, including two penthouse units, as well as residential amenities and a cellar level. The development stands on a formerly vacant lot between Nagle Avenue to the north and Sickles Street to the southwest, and between the neighborhoods of Washington Heights and Inwood.

The Frame Wraps Up Construction at 31-19 29th Street in Astoria, Queens

Construction is finishing up on The Frame, a six-story residential building at 31-19 29th Street in Astoria, Queens. Designed by NiZa Works and developed by Silverline Group, the 75-foot-tall structure will span 7,477 square feet and yield 20 condominium units along with a cellar and a 43-foot-long rear yard. The ground-up development is located on an interior plot between 31st Avenue to the north and Broadway to the south.

601 Baltic Street Completes Construction in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn

Construction is complete on 601 Baltic Street, a ten-story residential building in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. Designed, developed, and constructed by Grid Group, the 30,018-square-foot structure will yield 25 condominium units with an average scope of 906 square feet, as well as 1,654 square feet of ground-floor retail space. The property is situated at the corner of Baltic Street and Fourth Avenue.

316 Rutledge Street Nears Topping Out in South Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Construction is nearing topping out on 316 Rutledge Street, a nine-story building in South Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Designed by Jay Architect & Engineering and developed by Abe Brach, the 110-foot-tall structure will span 42,225 square feet and yield 25,113 square feet of community facility space for philanthropic offices, as well as 17,112 square feet of commercial space and 47 enclosed parking spaces. The property is located on an interior lot between Broadway and Harrison Avenue.

Brick Façade Installation Continues on 159 Boerum Street in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Façade installation is swiftly progressing on 159 Boerum Street, a 19-story residential building in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Designed by Aufgang Architects and developed by Slate Property Group in partnership with Avenue Realty Capital and SD Builders and Construction LLC, the 216-foot-tall building will span 116,000 square feet and yield 162 rental units with 49 designated as affordable housing. The property is located on an interior lot between Graham Avenue and Humboldt Street.

11 and 55 Gerry Street Wrap Up Construction in South Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Construction is nearing completion on 11 and 55 Gerry Street, a two-building residential complex in the Broadway Triangle section of South Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Designed by Fischer + Makooi Architects and developed by Rabsky Group, the project consists of the ten-story 11 Gerry Street, which stands 105 feet tall, and the eight-story 55 Gerry Street, which stands 85 feet tall. Both structures span around 160,000 square feet and yield a combined 106 residential units. Both will also include ground-floor retail space and ambulatory diagnostic centers on their second stories. 11 and 55 Gerry Street are alternately addressed as 322-330 and 352 Wallabout Streets and occupy a trapezoidal plot bound by Harrison Avenue to the northeast, Wallabout Street to the northwest, Gerry Street to the southeast, and the confluence on Marcy and Union Avenues to the west.

New Renderings Showcase Related Companies and Wynn Resorts’ Master Plan for Phase Two of Hudson Yards

New renderings have been revealed for Related Companies and Wynn Resorts’ $12 billion mixed-use gaming complex proposal for the second phase of Hudson Yards. Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, the complex would consist of multiple skyscrapers housing 1,500 apartments, 2 million square feet of office space, a public grade school, a 5.6-acre park called Hudson Green designed by Hollander Design and Sasaki, and a daycare center. The new batch of towers would rise directly west of the first phase of Hudson Yards over the 13-acre Western Rail Yards bound by West 33rd Street to the north, West 30th Street to the south, Eleventh Avenue to the east, and West Street to the west.

RAMSA’s 14 Fifth Avenue Resumes Construction in Greenwich Village, Manhattan

Stern Architects and Hill West Architects and developed by Madison Realty Capital, which purchased the 5,255-square-foot plot for $27.5 million in 2015, the 241-foot-tall structure will yield 20 condominiums. The property is located between East 8th and East 9th Streets, just north of Washington Square Park.
