350 West 44th Street’s Exterior Progresses in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan

Construction has topped out on 350 West 44th Street, a seven-story residential building in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan. Designed by Z Architecture and developed by Yevgeniy Lvovskiy of ZHL Group under the 350 West 44th LLC, the 66-foot-tall structure will span 31,497 square feet and yield 29 condominium units with an average scope of 964 square feet, as well as 3,518 square feet of commercial space, a cellar level, and a 30-foot-long rear yard. YM Pro Corp. is the general contractor for the property, which is located on an interior lot between Eighth and Ninth Avenues, directly south of McCaffrey Playground.

46-30 21st Street Tops Out in Long Island City, Queens

Construction has topped out on 46-30 21st Street, a nine-story residential building in the Hunters Point section of Long Island City, Queens. Designed by Lu Ning Architecture and developed by Chris Xu of United Construction and Development Group under the 21st Street Development LLC, the 95-foot-tall structure will yield 71 units, ground-floor commercial space, and a 23-vehicle parking garage in the cellar. The developer acquired the property for $13 million in 2020 and demolished the two-story warehouse building that occupied it. Century Construction Group Corp. is the general contractor for the project, which is located at the intersection of 21st Street and 46th Road.

Excavation Begins at 1036 Manhattan Avenue in Greenpoint, Brooklyn

Excavation is underway at 1036 Manhattan Avenue, the site of an eight-story mixed-use building in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Designed by Ismael Leyva Architects and developed by ASH NYC under the 170 Freeman LLC, the 83-foot-tall structure will span 56,408 square feet and yield 67 rental units with an average scope of 654 square feet, as well as 767 square feet of commercial space, a cellar, and a 30-foot-long rear yard. MNC General Contractors Corp. is the general contractor for the property, which is located at the corner of Manhattan Avenue and Freeman Street.

New Renderings Released For 625 Fulton Street in Downtown Brooklyn

New renderings have been released for 625 Fulton Street, a 35-story mixed-use skyscraper that currently stands topped out in Downtown Brooklyn. Designed by Fischer Rasmussen Whitefield Architects and developed by Rabsky Group with $450 million in construction financing from Madison Realty Capital, the 500-foot-tall structure will yield 1,098 rental units, 26,000 square feet of retail space on the lower levels, and an on-site parking garage for 250 vehicles. Galaxy Developers is the general contractor for the property, which is alternately addressed as 485 Hudson Avenue and bound by the 34-story 80 DeKalb Avenue to the north, Fulton Street to the south, Rockwell Place to the east, and Hudson Avenue to the west.

16 Dupont Street Tops Out Over Greenpoint, Brooklyn

Construction has topped out on 16 Dupont Street, a 40-story residential tower in Greenpoint, Brooklyn‘s 22-acre Greenpoint Landing master plan. Designed by GKV Architects and developed by Rockefeller Group and Park Tower Group, the 400-foot-tall structure will span 365,651 square feet and yield 381 rental units, with 115 reserved for affordable housing, as well as 2,548 square feet of ground-floor retail space and 138 enclosed parking spaces. Monadnock Construction is the general contractor for the property, which is located at the intersection of Dupont, West, and Commercial Streets.

1487 First Avenue Rises Above Street Level on Manhattan’s Upper East Side

Construction is rising on 1487 First Avenue, a 35-story residential building on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by Hill West Architects and developed by Carmel Partners, which purchased the property from Robert Chou for $73.5 million in early 2022, the 404-foot-tall structure will yield 206 condominium units, 7,120 square feet of ground-floor retail space, and a cellar level. CP VII 78th Street Owner is the owner and Carmel Construction East is the general contractor for the project, which is located at the southwestern corner of First Avenue and East 78th Street.

Anagram Wraps Up at 1 West 60th Street on Manhattan’s Upper West Side

Construction is wrapping up on Anagram, a 25-story residential at 1 West 60th Street on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by INC Architecture & Design with SLCE Architects as the architect of record and developed by Global Holdings Management Group, the 281-foot-tall structure spans 180,813 square feet and yield 123 market-rate and affordable housing units with interiors by The Setting, as well as 20,000 square feet of retail space on the first two levels. Pavarini McGovern is the general contractor and DeSimone Consulting Engineers is the façade consultant for the property, which is alternately addressed as 1841 Broadway and located at the corner of Broadway and West 60th Street, just north of Columbus Circle and the southwest corner of Central Park.

ODA’s 126 East 57th Street Begins Ascent in Midtown, Manhattan

Construction is rising on 126 East 57th Street, a 28-story residential building on Billionaires’ Row in Midtown East, Manhattan. Designed by ODA Architecture and developed by MRR Development under the MRR 1326 LLC, the 346-foot-tall structure will yield 147 condominium units with an average scope of 1,156 square feet, as well as 5,000 square feet of lower-level retail space. WSP USA is the engineer and Plaza Construction is the general contractor for the property, which is being constructed on an L-shaped parcel at the corner of East 56th Street and Lexington Avenue, with a narrow extension to East 57th Street.

125 West 57th Street’s Glass Façade Begins Installation in Midtown, Manhattan

Construction is rising on 125 West 57th Street, a 26-story commercial building on Billionaires’ Row in Midtown, Manhattan. Designed by FXCollaborative and developed by Alchemy-ABR Investment Partners and Cain International, the 440-foot-tall structure will span 260,000 square feet and yield 185,000 square feet of Class A office space, 7,000 square feet of retail space, and a new home for the Calvary Baptist Church, which has operated on the site since 1883 and sold the property to the developers for $150 million in 2017. Leading Builders Group is the general contractor for the project, which is located on an interior lot between Sixth and Seventh Avenues between Christian de Portzamparc‘s One57 and SHoP Architects‘ 111 West 57th Street.

Fulton Residences Completes Construction at 1079 Fulton Street in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn

Construction is complete on The Fulton Residence, a seven-story residential building at 1079 Fulton Street in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. Developed by New Start Development, which purchased the property for $10.25 million, the project involved the conversion of a vacant homeless shelter into a rental apartment building spanning 26,000 square feet and yielding 30 units in studio- to two-bedroom layouts with an average scope of 867 square feet. Mabe Group, Inc. served as the general contractor for the development, which is located at the corner of Fulton Street and Classon Avenue.
