New Renderings Revealed 55 Broad Street’s Residential Conversion in Financial District, Manhattan

New renderings have been revealed for the office-to-residential conversion of 55 Broad Street, a 36-story tower in the Financial District of Lower Manhattan. Designed by CetraRuddy and developed by Silverstein Properties and Metro Loft, the project will yield 571 rental apartments in studio to three-bedroom layouts along with a collection of indoor and outdoor amenities. Silverstein purchased the building, which was originally designed by Emery Roth & Son in 1967 and formerly housed the headquarters of Goldman Sachs, for $180 million in June 2022. The property is located at the corner of Broad and Beaver Streets.

New Renderings Revealed for The Henry at 211 West 84th Street on Manhattan’s Upper West Side

A new set of renderings have been revealed for The Henry, an 18-story residential building under construction at 211 West 84th Street on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by Robert A. M. Stern Architects with Hill West Architects as the architect of record and developed by Naftali Group, the 209-foot-tall structure will span 154,598 square feet and yield 45 condominium units with an average scope of 3,371 square feet, as well as 2,898 square feet of ground-floor retail space, a cellar level, and 17 enclosed parking spaces. The building has nearly 250 feet of frontage along West 84th Street from the corner of Broadway to the middle of the city block.

Construction is wrapping up on Domino Square, a 33,000-square-foot public waterfront plaza and event space at 320 Kent Avenue within the 11-acre redevelopment of the historic Domino Sugar factory site in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Designed by Field Operations in collaboration with Studio Cadena and developed by Two Trees, the 1-acre park is located between The Refinery mixed-use office building to the north, the One Domino Square residential complex to the south, Kent Avenue to the east, and River Street, Domino Park, and the East River to the west.

Designed by Andres Escobar and developed by George Xu under the 33rd Street Ventures LLC, the 75-foot-tall structure spans 64,984 square feet and yields 64 rental units in studio- to two-bedroom layouts with an average scope of 744 square feet, as well as 10,601 square feet of commercial space, a cellar level, a 30-foot-long rear yard, and 32 enclosed parking spaces. The property is located between 37th and 38th Avenues.
