Designed and developed by KPG Funds, the project involves the gut renovation and re-cladding of a structure that formerly served as an auxiliary space for the adjacent Salvation Army headquarters, and will yield 57,478 feet of Class A office and retail space, as well as a ground-floor art gallery. 132 West 14th Street Ground Lessee LLC is listed as the owner and MJM Associates Construction is the general contractor for the development, which is located on an interior lot between Sixth and Seventh Avenues.

New renderings have been revealed for 200 East 75th Street, an 18-story residential building under construction in the Lenox Hill section of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by Beyer Blinder Belle and developed by EJS Development, which purchased the property for $32.5 million in March 2021, the topped-out 214-foot-tall structure will span 97,569 square feet and yield 36 condominium units and ground-floor retail space. Triton Construction Industry is the general contractor for the project, which is alternately addressed as 1305-1307 Third Avenue and located at the intersection of Third Avenue and East 75th Street.

A new rendering was posted for 319-321 West 38th Street, an upcoming 26-story Best Western Hotel in Midtown, Manhattan. Designed by Gene Kaufman Architect and developed by 319 West 38th Steel, LP, the 250-foot-tall structure will span 44,200 square feet with an undisclosed number of hotel rooms and a collection of amenities. LK Design Bureau is the structural engineer and Omnibuild Construction is the general contractor for the project, which will rise from two adjoining interior plots between Eighth and Ninth Avenues.

Renderings Revealed for Port Authority Bus Terminal Overhaul in Midtown, Manhattan

Last week, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) revealed a pair of renderings for its proposal to reconstruct Port Authority Bus Terminal in Midtown, Manhattan. The $10 billion project is being designed by Foster + Partners and will replace the rundown 74-year-old, 2.1-million-square-foot structure that spans two city blocks between Eighth and Ninth Avenues and West 40th and 42nd Streets. The bi-state agency submitted a draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) last Thursday to the Federal Transit Administration, which green-lit a 45-day public comment period. Four hearings will be held from February 20 to 22.

Construction Corp. is the general contractor for the property, which is alternately addressed as 170 West 22nd Street and located at the southeast corner of Seventh Avenue and West 22nd Street.
