Designed by FXCollaborative and developed by JEMB Realty, the 145-foot-tall structure will span 395,726 square feet and yield 375 rental units with an average scope of 798 square feet, 25 percent of which will be dedicated to affordable housing, as well as 5,388 square feet of retail space, 18,850 square feet of community space, a cellar level, and 106 enclosed parking spaces. INC Architecture & Design is the interior designer and Pavarini McGovern is the general contractor for the property, which was formerly addressed as 11 Ocean Parkway and is located on Machate Circle at the southwestern corner of Prospect Park, bound by Ocean Parkway, Coney Island Avenue, and Caton Place.

Construction has topped out on 1057 Atlantic Avenue, a 17-story residential building in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Designed by dencityworks and developed by Douglaston Development, the sprawling 474,000-square-foot structure will yield 456 rental apartments in studio to three-bedroom layouts, with 137 units reserved for affordable housing, as well as 35,000 square feet of amenities and 31,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Levine Builders is the general contractor for the $320 million project, which was formerly addressed as 1045 Atlantic Avenue and is located between Classon and Franklin Avenues.

Construction is nearing completion on The Walt Disney Company’s 22-story New York headquarters at 7 Hudson Square in Hudson Square, Manhattan. Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and developed by Silverstein Properties, 338-foot-tall structure will yield 1.2 million square feet of offices, film and production studios, and ground-floor retail space. Gensler is the interior designer, and Lendlease is the general contractor for the project, which is alternately addressed as 137 Varick Street and formerly addressed as 4 Hudson Square, and stands on an 85,600-square-foot full-block plot bound by Vandam Street to the north, Spring Street to the south, Varick Street to the east, and Hudson Street to the west.

25 Water Street’s Expansion Tops Out in Financial District, Manhattan

Construction has topped out on 25 Water Street, a 32-story office-to-residential conversion and expansion in Manhattan’s Financial District. Designed by CetraRuddy and developed by GFP Real Estate, Metro Loft Management, and Rockwood Capital, the project involves the construction of ten stories above the parapet of the former 22-story office building, the replacement of much of its old façade with a modern fenestration featuring more expansive glass, and the gut renovation of its 1.1 million square feet of interiors into 1,300 rental units.

Construction is moving along on 500 Main Street, a 26-story mixed-use tower in downtown New Rochelle, New York. Designed by Niles Bolton Associates and developed by BRP Companies and the Urban Investment Group of Goldman Sachs Asset Management, the $200 million project will span 620,000 square feet and yield 477 rental apartments in studio to two-bedroom layouts, with 119 units dedicated to affordable housing, as well as 20,000 square feet for the New York Covenant Church, 2,000 square feet of retail space, and a 429-vehicle parking garage with electric vehicle charging stations. Skycore Builders Inc. is the general contractor for the development, which is being built on a 22,500-square-foot corner lot at the intersection of Main and Church Streets.
