Construction has topped out on Glenmore Manor, a ten-story affordable housing development at 97 Glenmore Avenue in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Designed by Think! Architecture and Design and developed by the Glenmore Manor Apartments Managers LLC, a consortium of non-profit community developer African American Planning Commission Inc., affordable housing owner-developer and builder Lemle & Wolff Companies, and private real estate company Brisa Builders Development, the structure will yield 232 rental units for families earning up to 80 percent area median income, with a portion designated for formerly homeless families and low-income seniors. The project will also house a community facility called The B’Ville Hub and commercial space. The property is located on a formerly vacant L-shaped parcel bound by Glenmore Avenue to the south, Christopher Avenue to the east, and Mother Gaston Boulevard to the west.

Designed by Daniel Goldner Architects for Chesky Rosen under the 19 Rockwell Place LLC, the 304-foot-tall structure will span 120,000 square feet and yield 172 rental units in studio to two-bedroom layouts. The property is located on an interior lot between Fulton Street and Dekalb Avenue.

Renovation and expansion work is complete on 67 Vestry Street, a 13-story residential building in Tribeca, Manhattan. Designed by BP Architects and developed by Iliad Realty Group, the project involved the restoration of the Romanesque-style stone façade, gut renovation of its interiors, and the construction of four new stories above the original roofline. Designed by Aufgang Architects and developed by Slate Property Group, the 83-foot-tall structure spans 57,407 square feet and yields 88 affordable rental units with an average scope of 798 square feet, as well as a community space with a 591-square-foot daycare center, a cellar level, and a 30-foot-long rear yard. A portion of the units are reserved for residents with mobility, hearing, and visual impairments. The property is located on an interior lot between Eliot and 62nd Avenues.

Last week, Rockefeller Center celebrated the opening of Skylift at Top of The Rock, a new open-air attraction at 30 Rockefeller Center in Midtown, Manhattan. Designed in collaboration between architect Richard J. DeMarco, AIA, principal of MADGI, and experiential designer THG Creative, the experience hoists visitors to nearly 900 feet above street level on a revolving platform, providing unobstructed 360-degree views of New York City. 30 Rockefeller Center is bound by Sixth Avenue, Rockefeller Plaza, and West 49th and West 50th Streets.
