355 West 39th Street Nears Halfway Mark in Midtown West, Manhattan

Construction is rising on 355 West 39th Street, an 11-story residential building in Midtown West, Manhattan. Designed by Gilman Architects and developed by Man Hei Li under the 355 Hudson Yard LLC, the 115-foot-tall structure will yield 19,255 square feet with 26 rental units spread across 17,023 square feet, as well as 1,603 square feet of commercial space, 629 square feet for a community facility, and a cellar level. EFIN Management is the general contractor for the project, which is located near the northeast corner of Ninth Avenue and West 39th Street.

Jersey City officials have revealed plans to redevelop an aging public housing property into a mixed-use, mixed-income complex in the city’s downtown area. Known as The Holland Gardens Revitalization Plan, the project team includes the Jersey City Housing Authority (JCHA), PS&S Architects, and WinnDevelopment, a Boston-based subsidiary of real estate investment firm Winn Companies.

Designed by Samoo Architects and Engineers (SAMOO) and developed by Level Group, the 120-foot-tall structure will yield 36,500 square feet and is engineered to achieve LEED Certification. KSK Construction Group is the general contractor for the property, which is located on an interior lot between Park Avenue South and Lexington Avenue.
